How long is the drive from Essaouira to Taghazout?
About 2 h 30 for roughly 155 km, depending on stops and your exact address.
How many surfboards can you take?
It depends on the vehicle and the group. Send us the number and length of the boards and we confirm the right vehicle.
Can we stop in Imsouane?
Yes. Add the stop when you book so it is included in your quote.
Is there a train or direct bus from Essaouira to Taghazout?
There is no train. Coaches run to Agadir and you then need a local taxi, while a private transfer takes you straight to your surf camp.
When is the best time to surf in Taghazout?
The swell is most consistent from October to March, which is also when most surf campers travel, so book your transfer early in those months.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. Your fixed quote covers the private vehicle, a licensed driver, fuel, tolls and insurance, agreed on WhatsApp before departure. You pay the driver at the end, in cash — dirhams (MAD) or euros (EUR).
